2 oz!
Today Tobi gained 2 oz and gets to have his tube taken out in the morning. He has been taking all of his feeds with his special bottle and even though I have to almost force down the end of it it is a good step. I was hoping that tomorrow he would be able to go home. The doc today said that they want to watch him until Monday. This feels like forever. Typing it sounds funny because it is just one more day, but each hour and day hear feels like a week. He is two weeks old tomorrow and it is crazy that we have been here this long. I know that we have needed to be here and we have learned a lot about taking care of Tobi.
I got to go home today and get things ready for Will tomorrow for Easter. I am really wanting him to know that even though we have been busy with Tobi and Mama has been gone he is still very important. He is excited for it. I also was able to crochet him a blanket because he saw me making one for Tobi and wanted one. I hope he likes it. =) It is cute too because his Aunt Sarah made him a little 'Big Brother" ribbon that he carries around everywhere and he says he is going to be the best big brother. He is excited to meet Tobi and told me again that it is a dumb rule that he can't meet him. =) He is too cute.
So here is to praying that he will continue to gain weight and drop his billi levels. I know God is in control and loves that boy more than i ever could. Each day I am overwhelmed with the fact that my boy is suppose to be here. He has defied odds of a million reasons and yet here is, perfect in every way. I can't wait to show him off to the world. How did I get to be the lucky mom of two such amazing boys? God is GOOD!!!
