Eping
This is a term that I am not fond off. haha... It means "exclusive pumping." I am so very grateful that I am able to do this for my Tobi, but it is a great challenge for me. I somewhat despise this each time I hook up to my pump. I have been really praying about this, especially that my attitude will change. I do soften when I look at my baby boy and see how well he is doing. He is getting chunky, and big, and growing. I know that it is the best he could possibly get, especially with the cleft. You know, we have had zero ear infections. I know this is a huge part because of breast milk. We are also super careful to never lay him down flat on his back for more than a couple minutes at a time. The doctors say that he will have many infections and will need tubes. I am praying that the the trend we are on will continue and we can get through the time until his surgery without infections and tubes.
So, if there is anyone that has any tricks for pumping I am all for it. I have been on forums to try to find those tricks and encouragement, which I have. We are almost 5 months in now and I have been able to keep on top of Tobi's feeds. I really want to make it the 13 months and beyond for him. God has been so good.

I look at Tobi so often and I am still in amazement that he is even here. He is such a precious, sweet boy. I love him so very much. He has started to laugh and he locks him eyes on his big brother whenever he sees him. I love the realtionship that they already have. WIll has been such a big help and has done a lot lately for the two of us. His favorite job though is carrying Tobi over to the swing for me sometimes and putting him in. He is quite proud that he can hold his baby brother. =) He, Will, started a new gymnastics class this week by invitation. It is a small group of boys that have been watched and were asked to work together with a couch at the gym. Will absolutely loves it and does a great job too. At the end of the year they will begin competing. =) I am glad he has found something he loves and does well at so he can get some energy out. haha.. I say some. I love watching him on the rings and doing his crazy gymnast things he does. He was built for it and as long as he loves and enjoys it we are going to keep him in it. I appreciate the couches because they push the boys to do their very best and encourage them to work very hard at it without pressure or too much seriousness. This couch they have is a great match. He loves the energy Will has and finds ways to harness it rather than looking at it as a problem. I am blessed that he found Will.
Summer is wrapping up and we have enjoyed family and friends. Julie has been here for over a week with the kids and we have enjoyed the time together. It has been crazy but so much fun. Will has been learning a lot being the oldest and it has been challenging for him. I am so thankful for this opportunity though. It has been great to get to know the kids and be around them. I am going to be very sad when they have to go back home. I just wish Austin could have been here too. We are going to spend some time up in Garden Valley this weekend and hopefully make it up to Stanley so Julie can see the Sawtooths. It never is much of a arm twist to get up to go up there. Hahah.. It has been over a year since I have been so I hope it works out. It is worth putting two babies, a two year old and a little bit bossy 6 year old in the car for 4 hours over. =) We are blessed!! I am thankful for the family that we have and that we have been able to spend time with them.
