Friends

There are people who come into out lives who I believe connect with our spirits. We just had a lovely time with our friends the Ehelers from Canada. I met them and fell in love with their family when I got to be in Philippines. Theresa is a sister midwife and we did a lot together in that month. Then we we were able to sit for the NARM exam together. She is a dear friend who I connected with instantly. We have wanted our families to meet for a long time and we were finally able to do that. What a sweet time too. 

The kids had a blast and we enjoyed the visit time. We even snuck in an afternoon at the water park! That's a lot for a day and a half. :) Then we had to say bye and my heart hurts. Again we are left saying, why are those we love and connect with like this so far? Like the Hoop family in Alaska. We spent a fast three years with them over ten years ago but I consider them some of our dearest friends. But so far away. I guess I just have to be thankful for them and for the people we have around us now. Which there a great many. I know there is a difference though, my heart knows. It was a great time and I look forward to when we can meet again. 

Maybe a big trip up north, Canada and Alaska!!
