Summer Fun!

So, again I am bad at updating. I am feeling much better but just have been super busy. I had two beautiful births this summer, one in June that was a good friend and another one this week. Will also started Level 5 gym this summer so he goes three days a week for 3 1/2 hours a time. That makes for a lot of time in the car and of course his gym is on the other side of the valley. Didn't think about that when we picked it 5 years ago. Also didn't think he would be competing and loving it. We love the coaches there though and we couldn't leave now.


We went camping the weekend of our anniversary (12 years!!) with the boys and the dogs. Next time no dogs. Moose was in and out of the river so much the whole campsite was soaked and Suka cried the whole time because Moose was free. Then Tobin would roll all over the sand, it really was fun, but... next time no sand, no dogs. :)

We spend the 4th up at my parents in Crouch and it was a wild and fun time. Tobin loved the fireworks, which were everywhere because the whole town brings there fireworks there and they go off from like 5 -2am. It was crazy.

Will turned 8!! We had a big BBQ with friends from church and he had a blast running around everywhere with his buddies. I just can't believe that he is 8 already. How did it go so fast??

This last week Will had gym, I had a birth, we had VBS every night, and it was crazy busy. I am looking forward to this weekend and some time to settle. I only have one more birth I am assisting with before my baby so I am glad for that. I am starting to feel bigger and it doesn't take a lot to wear me out now.

However, my client who had her baby this week had it early so... I am going to take Will and go to Creation Fest!! I am so excited. I have wanted to go as far back as I can remember, well, as long as they have been doing it anyway, and this year has a great line up. Toby Mac, David Crowder!!, Passion, Louie Gigglio, Chris Tomlin, Capitol Kings.... to name a few. I am so excited to spend all that time in worship and it will be a blast. My heart has been yearning for this worship. I value the worship at our church and we have such a great body with amazing teaching, and still I miss this worship. It has been so long. It makes me smile just thinking of it. And, I am excited to have Will there with me too. It is going to be so good for him to experience that many people coming together for Him. I can't wait!!

That is a brief update of our summer, it has been insanely hot lately with temps in the triple digits. I am thankful we don't have humidity and the fires have not been bad yet. I love summer and it is going so fast. Luckily I have something great to look forward to in the Fall!! I am getting excited to meet this little one and keeping my prayers on making it to term. October 2nd! :) God is good no matter what comes our way. Lots of love from the Taplin's
