Welcome 2012
I can't believe that it is 2012 and that January is here. It seems like so much has gone on and happened it is hard to process. But, in the end I have two beautiful healthy boys that keep me on my toes and happy. I know I say that over and over but I don't think that I can say that enough. They challenge and grow me every day and I count it a blessing that I am able to stay home with them. The other side of it is that I do miss midwifery but those two faces win every time. We have settled into a routine for the most part. Will and I still have days we struggle to get school done, but I figure it will get done and it isn't worth stressing myself out over. He is learning and growing and doing great. He still loved his gymnastics and when he focuses he is very good. I love watching him flip and twist and jump all over the place. He really is a monkey.
We haven't had snow this year and the ski hill still isn't open which makes things a little tight around here. I know it will all even out but it does make us thankful for when the hill is open. We hope sooner than later, if at all, that the hill will open and we can catch up. It is crazy to think that we have been doing this for almost 8 years now. We still love it, or else we wouldn't be crazy enough to be doing it. Gotta love coffee. So, we haven't been up to much and staying low for the meantime trying to avoid sickness. Tobi hasn't been sick sick yet and I would really like to make it to his surgery without it. He is doing so well and getting nice and chunky. He is my big boy, that is for sure. Here's to starting a new year. We will see what this one holds.
