football, Michigan, and sick sick sick!!!
Is it really only January? Last weekend Matt has an amazing opportunity to go to the Packers game in Green Bay so the three of us packed up (very last min.) and flew to Michigan for the weekend. wheh! WE flew out Friday and got in late that night. Matt and his brother Dave drove up to Green Bay, saw the game, and drove back that night. Will and I got to stay home with the cousins and try to watch them play. Will was sick the whole week before we left with a high fever and just not feeling well. I wasn't thrilled about bringing him on the plane, but we did it. He did good and we only panicked a little when his fever spiked to 105 on the long plane ride, but went down. i think it was all the people and it was quite hot. HE wasn't his normal crazy self the whole time we were there, but at least we go to see everyone and he got to play with his cousins. and he got to see Gramma and Pappa and Juju and Austi. it was such a quick trip we hated to go so fast. but... Monday morning all the cousins and Aunt Sarah were throwing up and i had a fever and was fluey. i was miserable on the way home and it hit me hard the next day. i pretty much have spent the whole week in bed and finally went to the doctor because my mom told me i had to go. i have strep and the flu and gave in for an antibiotic. will also still had his fever and had two ear infections. what a horrible mother i am!!! he wasn't even touching his ears. so... he is on the same antibiotic as Mamma. sometimes you just have to give. but... i will say, wow. i immediately felt the change in me and realized i had been in a coma state for too long. poor matt having to do it all. i have not been able to recover from it though and it is frustrating. but not bad enough to not go to the cabin yesterday and most of today. it was nice to have just will and mamma time. will is much much better and is back to super crazy. so when i looked at the date today i was shocked!!! the 20th?!? where has it gone. we love all and hope everyone is "weller" than we are. keep us in your prayers as we still continue to journey through our valley. praise God for the valley time. i am beginning to think i am a "valley girl" ha ha... too much fun to pass off. love you all and God Bless.
