Will (Spring '14)

Ok,

I have a lot of catching up to do. So, we just finished out the gymnastics season and boy was it a busy one. We did two trips to Portland, one to Spokane, and one to Tacoma. He did so well.

He went to state and he was the level 5 state champion for his age bracket and took third All-around out of all level 5s (up to age 15) With that he qualified to go to Regionals. He competed against boys from AK, OR, WA, MT, and ID. He didn't do great there and didn't qualify but we were so proud of him. There were only two boys who qualified from our gym and the other boy was a level 8. He had some crazy competition and overall didn't do bad for his first meet that big. One exciting thing was that he did his Kip for the first time at that meet!! He had some good one on one time with his coach and learned a lot.

I am not too disappointed he didn't place because he is only 8 and that is a lot of pressure to start out his "career" with. He did great at State and great at Regionals. We did get some awesome photos there. I am so glad we spent the $ to have them taken. Here is the link to all of the pics but here are a couple of my favorites. He is my little stud and I am so so proud of him and all the hard work he has put in.

He already has started training for level 6.
