2009 and three months later.

So, I decided that I needed to update after three months. It has been dreary and we have been in an inversion without the sun for over a week now. And... I can feel it. It is amazing how much the sun has an effect on me. In the mean time things are going well. Things with Mocha Moose could be better but considering the economy we cannot complain for what we are doing. We pay the bills. Matt is busy doing that and watching Will. I have not been as busy with my studies and schooling. I was out for most of December because I had a bulged disc in my lower back. Thankfully we found an wonderful chiropractor and with a lot of prayer and adjustments I was only out for three weeks. It is amazing what you can't do when you can't walk. God taught me a lot during those weeks and long days.

Will is busy as usual and has been growing like crazy. His new chore is getting the eggs and we now can do it without breaking half of them on the way back to the house. He likes the sound they make when they hit the ground, side of the house, a chicken, etc... He thinks it is pretty cool to do it himself and I think he likes it because he gets to boss around the chickens.

We haven't been able to go up skiing this year because of my back but we did get the chance to sled up at Garden Valley and that is Will's new favorite. Snow if his favortie and he would take it home if he could. We spent Christmas up at the cabin also this year and that was a lot of fun. Will came home with way too many gifts and I have had fun trying to put them away. What can you do? We can't believe it is 2009 and that so much has happened. We look forward to this year and all that it brings. I hope to enroll in the National College of Midwifery soon and begin all of that. I attended my 50th birth recently and I love it so much. The hours get long, but it is different than a job because I never seem to dread it or wish I didn't have to go. God shows me so much through each birth and I am truly blessed to learn from the women I work with. God is good. I will be better about updating and hope it isn't another three months from now. God Bless!!
