Goings on
Today I finally have some time to sit down and write something. It has been a very busy month at the Baby Place and I have been spending a lot of hours there. I love it. But I do miss Will and Matt when I am there for two days non stop. They survive and they survive quite well. I think they love their "guy time" and have fun together. Will has been busy busy and has been telling stories lately. He is very animated when I come home and he tells me about his day with Daddy. He goes to Mocha Moose with Matt when I have to go in the days Matt works and he is quite the riot with the customers. He now asks if you want a skinny latte or a double mocha. I am so proud. hehe...
I just can't believe how fast he is growing up. I told him this morning that he couldn't grow up anymore and he said, "no, I don't think I can do that, I have to get bigger so I can shoot the guns." We went to Sportsman's Warehouse the other day and he wanted to shoot the gun but Matt said he was too little. So Will said, "when I am bigger I can?" He apparently remembered today and told me so. I love him so much.
We also were at the Baby Place the other day and he was with me and I had to run in to help a birth and I heard knocking on the door and he says through the door, "hey guys, I got your mail." luckily the mom didn't hear but us midwives had a good laugh. he also was telling some kids that came in that he lived there. he is quite the ham now. I like that he can come now and then though so he knows where I am at. Most of the midwives have small kids too so it is nice that we all understand. Matt actually watches one of my head midwives kids on Wed because he is the same age as Will. They have a lot of fun. I love the girls I get to work with and they are quickly becoming more like family than coworkers.
We try to do what we can when we get a chance but it is hard to plan anything with my schedule right now. We took Will to his first movie last night to see Kung Foo Panda and he loved it. We miss the cabin and have not been able to go up there at all. but we will hopefully be able to get up there soon. Time is just going so fast and I can't believe that I have been at the Baby Place for 3 months now. Time flies. I think of our lives so far and I can't believe all that God has done for us. He has blessed us and brought us through so much. We are so gratefull. We love you all.
